In 2025, the Fédération Mondiale de Course à Obstacles will host a series of high-level international OCR competitions. These events will bring together athletes from around the globe, each competing in its own category.
The 2025 events organized by the first officially registered ISF for the sport of OCR will challenge athletes across the following formats:
- The OCR80: A short but intense race where precision, agility, and explosive speed are key to overcoming obstacles in record time.
- The OCR400: A balanced challenge combining both speed and strategic pacing as athletes navigate obstacles over a slightly longer distance.
- The OCR3000: A short-to-mid format, that challenges athletes to balance sustained running performance with efficient obstacle navigation.

2024 still holds one significant event: the OCR World Summit! The first edition of the summit will focus on sports governance, but it will also provide key information related to the future of OCR as a standalone professional sport.
