Location: Budapesti Honvéd Sportegyesület, Dózsa György út 53, 1134 Budapest.
Event description:
The competition is designed to challenge both military personnel and civilians in a race against the clock, in individual and team formats. Participants will compete on the World OCR 80m Standard Track, in a head-to-head format, especially designed for Military competitions.
Prerequisites: To compete, participants must first meet the basic military physical entry requirements. These qualifications serve as an entry standard and do not count toward the final competition results.
Physical Entry Requirements:
- Push-ups in a front plank position.
- Sit-ups from a lying position.
- 500m rowing, on a Concept2 rowing machine.
The event is open to:
- Active and reserve personnel of Defense Forces.
- Retired military personell.
- Cadets in officer and non-commissioned officer training programs.
- Employees of defense-related institutions.
- Civilians, interested in Defense & Military Sports.
Participants will complete a continuous circuit of:
- A 40m obstacle course running course, adhering to international standards.
- A 40m flat sprint.
- At the finish line, competitors must shoot at biathlon laser targets, using a laser pistol, hitting 2 out of 5 targets to stop the timer.
Categories:
- Individual: Male, Female
- Team: Male, Female, Mixed.
Competition Rules:
- The obstacle running course starts from a platform and is completed by ringing a bell.
- Each obstacle may be attempted twice. After the second failed attempt, the participant is disqualified, and their performance will not be scored.
Obstacles include:
- Wall climb
- Monkey Bars
- Ikarus
- Crawling section
- Olympic Rings
- Laser shooting
Awards:
- The top 3 male and female competitors under and over 45 years old based on time.
- The top-performing team (male, female, or mixed).
