World OCR is pleased to announce that a new sports discipline will be officially developed and governed under its authority, under the name of “Ocrathlon”.
The competition format behind this discipline was first piloted in Hungary in 2020, and has been under review by the World OCR Executive Board since 2024. This development reflects our continued commitment to expanding and differentiating the versions of obstacle-based sports within our governance.
A revised version of “Ocrathlon” will be tested in collaboration with the Comité de Liaison Internationale des Organismes Militaires Sociaux (CLIMS) on August 9th, 2025, during a closed event, that will not be accessible to the civilian participants.
