World OCR is pleased to announce a significant progress in relation to its member organization from the Czech Republic, which has managed to achieve the status of Federation, effective as of 21 October, 2025.
OCR Czech Republic is now recognized by World OCR as the official member organization for the development of the sports of OCR, and Ocrathlon within its country. World OCR will extend its full support to the organization in its endeavors to gain standalone recognition of the World OCR developed sports, and as a state-funded national federation from the Czech Republic National Sporting authorities.
Effective immediately, Czech Ninja & Obstacle Federation, z.s. will serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries and communications within Czech Republic related to OCR and Ocrathlon.
This protocol reinforces the OCR Czech Republic’s position as the reference authority for the development and recognition of Ocrathlon and OCR as standalone sports in its country. The mission of the organization will be to cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and emerging sports clubs, associations or other federations committed to the sport’s growth.
This policy also precludes the possibility of any new entities circumventing the established World OCR member when engaging with the officially registered International Governing Body for the standalone sport of OCR.
