World OCR is pleased to announce the admission of OCR Austria, the Österreichischer Fachverband für Extremhindernislauf as a Member Federation representing Austria, effective as of April 30, 2024.
OCR Austria is now recognized by World OCR as the official member organization for the development of the sports of OCR, and Ocrathlon within its country. World OCR will extend its full support to the organization in its endeavors to gain standalone recognition of the World OCR developed sports, and as a state-funded national federation from the Austrian National Sporting authorities.
Effective immediately, the Österreichischer Fachverband für Extremhindernislauf will serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries and communications within Austria related to all current and future versions of sports developed and sanctioned by World OCR. The mission of the organization will be to cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and emerging sports clubs, associations or other federations committed to the sport’s growth.
